OCTOBER 2010: I love the idea of saving trees and communicating online. I would like to suggest that PTA and FOMWS post minutes to meetings and include a treasurer's report. Posting info like minutes and how money is spent would encourage transparency for everyone.

Thank you for the suggestion, we absolutely agree with you. We will have our association meeting minutes posted on the website, and since we get a treasurer's report at every meeting, those will be included in the minutes as well. We also have a pie chart which details how the money was allocated for this year. We would like to invite you to our association meetings, first one coming up October 18th at 8:15 am in the Smith Center (MPR), to stay informed and share your ideas. We will also ask PTA members to join our budget committee this year, and help determine the funding needs for our school, please stay tuned for more info to come on when and how.
